Step One: Application and Screening

To embark on the quest of finding the perfect nanny, we gather detailed applications from potential candidates. These applications must include their qualifications, previous experience, and references. Before proceeding, we conduct thorough background checks, including criminal and reference checks, to ensure the safety of your family.

 

Step Two: Interviews

Our agency conduct interviews to gauge the nanny's personality, communication skills, and compatibility with your family's needs. This is also an opportunity to discuss expectations and responsibilities with the nanny.

 

Step Three: Meet and Greet/Trials

Following interviews, if both parties wish to proceed, we will organize a meet and greet time for the nanny. This allows the nanny to spend up to two hours with the family, to get a sense of the dynamics and environment.

 

Step Four: Contract and Documentation

Before the nanny starts, we provide detailed contracts outlining the terms of employment, including work hours, responsibilities, compensation, and any specific expectations. It is crucial to ensure that both parties understand and agree to the terms for a harmonious relationship.

 

Step Five: Emergency Procedures

Review emergency procedures with the nanny and ensure they know how to handle various situations, including contacting emergency services, administering basic first aid, and addressing specific health concerns.

 

Step Six: Regular Check-Ins

We Schedule regular check-ins to discuss how things are going, address any concerns, and make adjustments if needed. Open communication is key for a successful nanny-family relationship. By following these steps, we can ensure that your family has a reliable and trustworthy nanny, who can provide care with ease and confidence.

Price Guide

Our options:


Placement Fee:  A one-time search fee + GST. This fee is valid for 12 months and covers comprehensive background checks, interviews, screening, and coordination of meet-and-greet sessions. Payroll support is available if required. We can support you to negotiate your hourly rate to the nanny. 

Nanny Rates & Employment Terms: The agency rate is from $45 + GST per hour, depending on the nanny’s experience. Public holiday rates apply, and if you are away, the nanny must still be paid for any scheduled shifts. Sick and annual leave entitlements are provided to the nanny, and if your nanny is unavailable due to illness, we will arrange a replacement. If you wish to employ the nanny through our agency we will
 take care of all payroll intricacies. The hourly rate not only compensates your nanny but includes an array of services tailored for your convenience:

  • Superannuation: Securing your nanny's financial future.

  • Holiday Pay: Ensuring a well-deserved break is accounted for.

  • Sick Pay: Supporting your nanny during unexpected health challenges.

  • Insurance: A safety net for unforeseen circumstances.
